Features of the device
On cars 2115 with the carburetor engine the generator of 37.3701 type – alternating current, three-phase, with the built-in vypryamitelny block and the electronic regulator of tension, the right rotation (can be installed from the drive).

It differs in the device, characteristics and way of fastening on the engine (cm of fig. 9.6) from the generator 94.3701 described in section 7.

At the generator 37.3701 the stator 21 (fig. 9.31) and covers 1 and 19 are pulled together with four bolts. The shaft of the 8th rotor rotates in bearings 6 and 18 which are installed in covers. Food is brought to a rotor winding (an excitement winding) through brushes and contact rings 5.
The three-phase alternating current induced in a stator winding will be transformed in constant by the vypryamitelny block 2 attached to a cover 1. The electronic regulator 11 is united in one block with the brush holder and fastens also to a cover 1.

The scheme of connections of the generator 37.3701 is shown in fig. 9.32. Generally this scheme is similar to the scheme of connections of the generator 94.3701 (see fig. 7.6). Differences consist in marking of conclusions of the generator and regulator of tension. So, at the generator 37.3701 a conclusion of the straightened tension is marked "30", and on the generator 94.3701 – "In +". A conclusion for giving of tension of excitement on the generator 37.3701 is marked "61", and on the generator 94.3701 – "D". A conclusion "In" tension regulator at the generator 94.3701 is designated "D+", and conclusion "Ш" – "DF".
Tension for excitement of the generator at inclusion of ignition is brought to a conclusion "In" the regulator through the control lamp 4 located in a combination of devices. After launch of the engine the winding of excitement eats from three additional diodes installed on the vypryamitelny block. At the same time current does not pass through a control lamp and it does not burn. Conclusion "Ш" of the regulator of marking has no. The brush 13 connects to it (see fig. 9.31).
Operation of the generator is controlled by a control lamp 4 in a combination of devices. At inclusion of ignition the lamp has to burn, and after launch of the engine — to die away if the generator is serviceable. Bright burning of a lamp or its luminescence in half-heat speaks about malfunctions in system of the generator.
Possible malfunctions of the generator 37.3701 are similar described in section 7 for the generator 94.3701, only taking into account other marking of conclusions of the generator and the regulator of tension.
During the work with the generator 37.3701 it is also necessary to consider the preventions stated for the generator 94.3701 in section 7.

Control checks of the generator

Install the generator on the stand and execute connections as it is specified fig. 7.7, taking into account other marking of conclusions of the generator.
Turn on the stand electric motor, 4 establish by a rheostat tension at the exit of the generator of 13 V and finish the frequency of rotation of a rotor up to 5000 min.-1. Let's the generator work on this mode not less than 10 min., and then measure return current. The serviceable generator has to have it not less than 55 And.
If the measured size of the given current is less, then it speaks about malfunctions in windings of the stator and a rotor, about damage of gates. In this case careful check of windings and gates is necessary to define the place of malfunction.
Tension at the exit of the generator is checked with a frequency of rotation of a rotor of 5000 min.-1. 4 establish by a rheostat current of return 15 A and measure tension at the generator exit which has to be (14,1±0,5) B at a temperature of air and the generator (25±10) °C.
If tension does not keep within the specified limits, then replace tension regulator new, obviously serviceable, and repeat check. If tension is normal, then, therefore, the old regulator of tension is damaged and it needs to be replaced. And if tension still does not keep within the limits stated above, then it is necessary to check windings and gates of the generator.

It is carried out similarly described for the generator 94.3701 in section 7, at connections of the generator according to the scheme in fig. 7.8, but taking into account other marking of conclusions of the generator.
Check of the stator, gates and diodes of the vypryamitelny block, winding of excitement of a rotor and condenser
It is made the same as is described for the generator 94.3701 in section 7.
Check of the regulator of tension
The regulator will be checked the same as it is stated in section 7 for the generator 94.3701.
For check of the regulator on the car, after 15 min. operation of the engine on average turns at the included headlights measure tension between the 30 plug and mass of the generator. Tension has to is in limits of 13,6-14,6 Century.

The regulator removed from the generator is checked according to the scheme provided on fig. 9.33.
Between brushes include a lamp of 1-3 W, 12 V. K to a conclusion "In", and attach the power supply to the mass of the regulator at first of 12 in, and then of 15-16 V.
If the regulator is serviceable, then in the first case the lamp has to burn, and in the second — to die away.
If the lamp burns in both cases, then in the regulator breakdown and if does not burn in both cases, then or in the regulator is available break, or not contact between brushes and conclusions of the regulator of tension.

Repair of the generator
Dismantling and assembly of the generator
Clear and blow the generator compressed air. Zastoporte a generator pulley the capture which is included in adaptation 67.7823.9504 package turn off a nut of fastening of a pulley and a stripper press a pulley. Remove a spline and a conic washer of a pulley.
The usual stripper and capture is included in the package of adaptation 67.7823.9504. The last consists of two steel half rings which put in a pulley stream. Half rings have the same section, as well as a generator drive belt. On the one hand they are connected pivotally, and with another are supplied with levers which contract one hand at removal of a pulley.

Disconnect a wire from tension regulator plug "B". Disconnect wires of the regulator and the condenser from the generator 30 plug, unscrew screws of fastening of the regulator 2 (fig. 9.34) of tension and remove it. Remove the condenser 1, having unscrewed the fastening screw.
Turn off nuts of coupling bolts 14 and uncover the 11th generator and a rotor 8. Turn off nuts of the bolts connecting tips of gates to stator winding conclusions and take the stator 7 of a cover of the 17th generator.
Turn off a nut of a contact bolt 6, disconnect the 3rd plug of a wire of additional diodes from a block and remove the vypryamitelny block 5.
The generator in the sequence, the return dismantling gathers.
Not coaxiality of openings in paws of covers of the generator has to be no more than 0,4 mm. Therefore at assembly it is necessary to insert special caliber into these openings.
The conic spring washer of a pulley the convex party has to adjoin to a nut. A nut of a pulley tighten the moment of 38,4-88 N · m (3,9–9,0 kgfs · м).
Replacement of the brush holder
If brushes wore out and act from the brush holder less, than on 5 mm, then replace the brush holder assembled with tension regulator as this knot is non-demountable.
Before installation of the new brush holder with the regulator of tension blow a nest in the generator from coal dust and wipe from the oil mixed with coal dust.
Replacement of bearings of a rotor
To take the faulty bearing from a cover from the drive, turn off nuts of the screws which are pulling together washers of fastening of the bearing, remove washers with screws and on a manual press to a vypressuyta the bearing. If nuts of screws do not turn away (the ends of screws of a raskernena), then cut the ends of screws.
It is possible to install the new bearing in a generator cover only if the opening for the bearing is not deformed also diameter it no more than 42 mm. If the opening has bigger diameter or is deformed, replace a cover new.
The bearing in a cover is pressed on the press and then clamped between two washers which are pulled together with screws with nuts. After tightening of nuts you raskernit the ends of screws.
When replacing the bearing of a rotor from contact rings it is necessary to replace at the same time and a cover as if the bearing is damaged, then also the nest in a cover is damaged. The bearing is removed from a rotor a stripper and napressovyvatsya on the press.
Replacement of additional diodes
For replacement unsolder conclusions of the damaged diode and accurately take it from the plastic holder, without allowing sharp blows to the vypryamitelny block. Then clear a diode installation site of the epoxy remains, establish and solder the new diode.
Solder a diode conclusion with a color tag to conclusions of gates. After a pripayka paste the diode case to the holder epoxy

The normal deflection "And" (fig. 9.35) of a belt has to be within 10–15 mm at effort of 98 N (10 kgfs).
For increase in a tension of a belt make the following:
– release a nut of 1 fastening of the generator to a tension level 2;
– displace the generator from the engine aside and tighten a nut;
– turn a bent shaft on two turns and check a belt tension.
Avoid an excessive tension of a belt not to cause increase in loads of generator bearings.
