8.7.2. Removal, installation and adjustment of provision of a trunk lid

Open a trunk lid and disconnect electric wires. Turn off bolts of 5 (fig. 8.20) of fastening of a cover 4 to loops 2 and remove a trunk lid.
At installation of a trunk lid adjust its situation in a body aperture at the expense of the increased openings in loops, so that gaps with a body were identical.

The trunk lid has to open and be locked easily. If the lock (fig. 8.21) of a cover opens or locked with effort, then adjust position of the lock for what:
– outline contours of the case of the lock and a plate of 1 clamp 17;
– weaken nuts of the 14th fastening of the lock and bolts 2 clamps;
– move the case of the lock and a clamp to new situation;
– slightly tighten nuts and bolts, check operation of the lock and finally fix the lock.
