8.10.2. Dismantling and assembly of a heater

Fig. 8.31. A heater with air ducts, nozzles of ventilation and levers of heating: 1 – heater assembled; 2 – protection cover; 3 – sealant; 4 – the air duct is forward; 5 – the air duct is back; 6 – the air duct is right; 7 – the nozzle is right; 8 – the air duct is side right; 9 – the nozzle is side right; 10 – the case is intermediate; 11 – the nozzle is central; 12 – draft of the gate of heating of a windshield; 13 – control levers heater; 14 – handle of control of the gate of heating of a windshield; 15 – handle of management of a heater; 16 – plate of symbols; 17 – handle of control of the gate of heating of legs; 18 – the air duct is right; 19 – air duct of heating of salon; 20 – draft of the gate of management of a heater; 21 – draft of control of the heater crane; 22 – heater crane; 23 – draft of the gate of heating of legs

Before dismantling of a heater remove brackets from covers of drafts of 12 (fig. 8.31), 20, 21, 23 on casings of a heater and draft from levers of the drive of gates.

Fig. 8.32. Heater details: 1 – left casing of the fan; 2 – heater electric motor; 3 – right casing of the fan; 4 – radiator; 5 – draft of the drive of the gate of heating of a windshield; 6 – gate drive lever internal; 7 – gate drive lever external; 8 – right casing of a heater; 9 – screw; 10 – gate of the channel of an obduv of legs; 11 – gate of management of a heater; 12 – the bringing hose; 13 – the taking-away hose; 14 – heater crane; 15 – lever of the drive of the gate of heating of legs; 16 – left casing of a heater; 17 – collar; 18 – the resistor is additional; 19 – the ring is sealing

Weaken collars of fastening of hoses of 12 and 13 (fig. 8.32) on the crane 14 and a radiator 4 heaters and remove hoses. Turn out three screws of fastening of a radiator and take it from a heater.
Disconnect the resistor from a heater casing. Separate casings 1 and 3, having removed previously brackets of their fastening. Remove the fan assembled, having turned off two screws of fastening. Disconnect a support 17 from a casing 15 and take out the gate 11 of management of a heater.

       NOTE
For avoidance of violation of balancing it is not allowed to remove the driving wheel of the fan from an electric motor shaft.

Carry out assembly of a heater upside-down. Before assembly examine a condition of casings of a heater, the gate and sealants. If necessary a sealant of gates and a sealant of the air duct of a windshield paste glue 88 NP-35. Pay attention to correctness of installation of sealing laying and to reliability of tightening of coupling collars of hoses.
