7.7.1. Features of the device

The set of screenwash consists of a motor-reducer (the electric motor with a reducer), levers and brushes. The movement of brushes — parallel.
The cleaner electric motor — with excitement from permanent magnets, three-brush, with two speeds of rotation. For protection of the electric motor against overloads when freezing brushes to glass or the big resistance to their movement in a cleaner the thermobimetallic safety lock is established.

The scheme of inclusion of a cleaner is shown in fig. 7.27. The cleaner has three operating modes.
The I mode — faltering, is carried out in provisions II and III of the lever of the switch 3. This mode is provided to the electronic K3 relays of type 525.3747 installed in the assembly block. This relay also includes a cleaner motor-reducer (small speed) at inclusion of a washer of a windshield.
The II mode — constant, with a small speed of the movement of brushes, is carried out in position IV of the lever of the switch 6. At the same time supply voltage moves on the electric motor brush which is in a geometrical neutral.
The III mode — constant, with a high speed of the movement of brushes. Takes place in position V of the lever of the switch 6. At the same time supply voltage moves on the brush displaced from a geometrical neutral.
The relay 5 is used to unloading of contacts of the switch of ignition.
