4.2.5. Check of technical condition

Before check carefully wash out all details. Protect rubber details at a sink from effect of solvents.
Suspension bracket levers. Check a condition of levers of a suspension bracket, a connector and amplifiers of a beam of a suspension bracket. If cracks or deformations of the specified beam elements are found, replace suspension bracket levers assembled. Carrying out welding and leveling works is not allowed as it can cause violation of angles of installation of wheels. Adaptation 67.7824.9519 check whether suspension bracket levers are deformed.
Make sure that carving openings in flanges of levers are not damaged and are in good shape. Otherwise correct a carving, and at impossibility — replace suspension bracket levers.
Check a condition of rubber-metal hinges of levers of a suspension bracket. They should be replaced:
– at gaps and unilateral "vypuchivaniye" of rubber;
– during the cutting and wear of rubber on an external end face of the hinge.
Springs. Examine springs. If cracks or deformation of rounds are found, replace a spring new.
Check spring draft for what it is triple to a prozhmita a spring before contact of rounds. Then apply load of 2892 N (295 kgfs) to a spring. Length of a spring of "N" (fig. 4.25) under the specified loading has to be not less than 233 (213) * mm. If the spring with yellow marking (class A) has length less than 240 (220) * mm, replace its marking on green (class B).
You carry out compression of a spring on a spring axis, and basic surfaces have to correspond to surfaces of basic cups of shock-absorbers and bodies.
Check a condition of rubber basic laying of springs, if necessary replace them new.
Shock-absorbers and details of their fastening. It is possible to estimate a condition and operability of shock-absorbers as follows:
– execute several full courses stretching compression at vertical position (a rod up) then the rod of the shock-absorber has to move without failures and jammings. The effort at a release (stretching) has to be more, than at compression. At the same time there should not be knocks and other extraneous noises, and also liquid dribble. At detection of the specified defects repair or replace shock-absorbers;
– be convinced of good shape of rubber plugs of the lower eyes of shock-absorbers; if necessary replace them, using adaptation 67.7823.9539;

– check a condition of rubber pillows 6 (see fig. 4.22) fastenings of a rod; replace them if they are destroyed or damaged;
– check a condition of the buffer 2 courses of compression and the protection cover of 1 rod. If the casing is damaged and does not provide protection of a rod against direct hit of dirt, replace it. Replace the buffer of the course of compression at its destruction or damage.
More exact check of a state and operability of the shock-absorber is carried out at the dynamometer stand as it is stated above (see. "Check of a telescopic rack and the shock-absorber of a back suspension bracket" in the subsection "Forward Suspension Bracket").
Naves of wheels, bearings. Check a condition of carving openings under bolts of fastening of disks of wheels, landing of a mud-reflective ring. Turn a nave in both directions, swing at the same time has to be smooth.
Replace the damaged or worn-out bearings, using a mandrel for their vypressovka And. 74186, and for a press fitting – 67.7853.9574. The nave is napressovyvat a mandrel 67.7853.9584.
