2.8.2. Check of technical condition and repair

Check. Carefully wash up the block of cylinders and clear oil channels. Having blown and having dried compressed air, examine the block of cylinders. Cracks in support or other places of the block of cylinders are not allowed.
If there is a suspicion on hit of cooling liquid in a case, then at the special stand check tightness of the block of cylinders. For this purpose, having muffled openings of the cooling shirt of the block of cylinders, force in it water of room temperature under pressure of 0,3 MPas (3 kgfs/cm2). Within two minutes leak of water from the block of cylinders should not be observed.
If hit of oil in cooling liquid is observed, then without full dismantling of the engine check whether the block of cylinders has cracks in zones of oil channels. For this purpose merge cooling liquid from the cooling system, remove a head of cylinders, fill a shirt of cooling of the block of cylinders with water and give compressed air to the vertical oil canal of the block of cylinders. In case of vials of air in the water filling a cooling shirt replace the block of cylinders.
Check the plane of the socket of the block of cylinders with a head by means of a ruler and a set of probes. The ruler is established on diagonals of the plane and in the middle in the longitudinal direction and across. The admission of planeness makes 0,1 mm.
Repair of cylinders. Check whether the most admissible exceeds wear of cylinders – 0,15 mm.

Diameter of the cylinder is measured nutromery (fig. 2.29) in four belts, both in longitudinal, and in the cross direction of the engine (fig. 2.30). The caliber 67.8125.9502 is applied to installation of a nutromer on zero.
In a belt zone 1 cylinders practically do not wear out. Therefore on a difference of measurements in the first and other belts it is possible to judge the size of wear of cylinders.
If the maximum size of wear more than 0,15 mm — chisel cylinders to the next repair size, having left an allowance of 0,03 mm for diameter under a honingovaniye. Then an otkhoninguyta cylinders, maintaining such diameter that at installation of the chosen repair piston the settlement gap between it and the cylinder was 0,025–0,045 mm.
